Mikayla was brought home this Monday from the local government orphanage. We have spent several months praying over her transfer to Courage Home, and she was welcomed with quiet excitement from the caregivers, teachers, and kids, who all sweetly gathered around her. Mikayla has a visual impairment and CP. She is a tiny bundle of joy. Her smile is bright, her laughter is soft. Already we are learning more and more about her. She likes to repeat sounds made to her—like kisses and babbling noises. She likes to hold hands. She loves music. And though she is very, very small, she is a big fan of food!
