Promise is a sweet young woman who is blind and has spina bifida and intellectual disability. Promise loves going to the park and starts giggling when her teacher tells her it is time for an outing. She claps her hands when she gets excited! She likes playing with shakers during music class. She can walk independently but is nervous to take more than a few steps at a time without a sighted guide. However, if her teacher has a squeaky toy that is making noise, she will be more likely to walk by herself. Promise loves mangoes and chicken curry!
